i have played a similar game called eufloria, it was cool looking and had more types of units and content but it had a major issue: it was just about getting to the point of controlling enough unit producers that you could begin building an insane army without a care in the world, this game is similar but it fixes that by being way more fast paced, if the enemy is at a big advantage, there is just no way to win but the levels are short so it doesnt matter that much, (in eufloria games could last for hours), in general i think is a great concept and it works well
